UTAH ENGLISH JOURNAL

About the Journal

Utah English Journal is a refereed journal devoted to teaching and scholarship for the field of secondary English Language Arts. It is the product of the Utah Council of Teachers of English and is published annually. 

Utah English Journal has been honored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) twice with its Affiliate Journal of Excellence Award.

Utah English Journal features research-based and scholarly articles that explore contemporary issues that are of interest to secondary ELA teachers, teacher educators, and scholars and researchers of English education. We value the unique position UEJ occupies in the field, bridging theory and practice by publishing research-based practitioner manuscripts that have immediate implications for the ways in which we teach secondary English language arts.
